The sale season has begun.
I never have the time to go through what I already have in the wardrobe and make a sensible list of clothing I need. What would happen was I just ended up with a lot more of the same black pencil skirt. It’s only while putting away the new buy that I discover last season’s skirt languishing at the bottom of the wardrobe. Forgotten, unloved.
It took several years to master the art of sensible shopping. Shopping time is cut down to a minimum (2-3 times a year), budget is slashed, but the clothes are much better.
I do love some high shine for daytime and office wear, and it’s most likely I’ll be living in this gold brocade skirt three-quarters of the year. Bare legs in summer and opaque tights in winter.
