Continuing to work was helping with my post-natal depression, but it did nothing for my latest bout. So I tried some other things. There’s a lot of trial and error going on because what seemed like a miracle cure the last time could bomb next time.
1. Get some fresh air. Take a walk round the block
2. Read a book – I read The Art Spirit and How To Stay Sane this time. Novels weren’t working
3. Listen to music – I tend to go for familiar tunes. Ones that I discovered as a teen seem to always work. Not the angsty ones though
4. Go for a swim – which I can’t do just yet. I have to wait till baby’s 6 weeks.
